Be still and know that I am God….Psalms 46:10
There is a time and place in our walk with God in which He sets us in a place of waiting. It is a place in which all past experiences are of no value. It is a time of such stillness that it can disturb the most faithful if we do not understand that He is the one who has brought us to this place for only a season. It is as if God has placed a wall around us. No new opportunities–simply inactivity. (more…)

“Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.” 2 Peter 3:11.
In the 1800s, an American tourist stopped by the home of Polish rabbi Chofetz Chaim.
The tourist was surprised to find a simple dwelling place filled only with books, a table, and a bench.
The tourist asked the rabbi, “Where is all your furniture?”
To which the rabbi replied, “Where is yours?”
The puzzled American said, “Mine? But I’m only a visitor here. I’m only passing through.”
To which the wise Chaim replied, “And I am simply a visitor here on this earth. I’m only passing through.”
Scripture talks about heaven in three different ways:
The celestial and magnificent universe. Psalm 19:1.
The great expanse of space surrounding the earth or its atmosphere.Genesis 1:8.
And the sought-after home of God. Hebrews 4:14. (more…)

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:2
Paul said that we believer are not same with people in who does not know the Living God is. But you got to notice that we all live in this world where believer and non believer are interact each other. We have our audiences. What audience do you play to? Each day you are seen by many who will make a judgment about the way you handle yourself among different audiences. Politicians have learned to play to their audiences. I believe that America Presidential Candidates are customizing their messages for the needs of USA and particular groups right now. Pastors play to their congregations every week. Workplace believers play to the audiences who will buy their product. (more…)

A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. - Proverbs 28:20
In the Promised Land, we learn that obedience is the only thing that matters. We are called to execute, and leave outcome to God. Sometimes that outcome is very positive, yielding a return. In other cases, we may not yield a corresponding return. We may even get a negative outcome. The difference is that we know that we have been faithful to what God has called us to and we yield results to God. God often blesses obedience beyond what we deserve. If God brings wealth to your life, it should come as a by-product of obedience, not an end in itself. (more…)

So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. - 2 Corinthians 4:12
I believe that everyone of us has been through tough times in life. Things that we valued no longer hold the same value. Small things become big things, and what we once thought big no longer holds much importance.
These hard times allow us to identify with the sufferings of others. It keeps us from having a shallow view of the hardships others are going through and allows us to truly identify with them. Those who speak of trials with no real experiences often ended up in judging others facing hardships. It is a superficial Christian experience that often permeates shallow believers. (more…)
