		<description>interesting view of confidence/faith. i guess the one thing i would stress is that it is all about God. He is the one who gives us confidence, and our confidence should only be in Him, and not ourselves. Galations 6:14 addresses it: paul states, "far be it from me to boast in anything except the cross of Jesus Christ, through whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world."

i also have never thought of John the Baptist as having doubted Jesus, just wanting to know if He was the Son of God.
