I qualify though by adding that concerning the others, they were not all completely devoid of the knowledge that Jesus was more than mere flesh. For example (Matthew 16:16-17), Jesus told Peter that Peter had not received from any man the knowledge that Jesus was the Son of God. Yes? They still did not get it until the Holy Spirit came upon them at Pentecost. It's really interesting to note that they were not all knowledgeable even then. They still had to pray and seek God on literally everything. The same thing is true for us. We will not "know it all" simply because we are given the Power of God. Frankly, we all have that as long as we are walking in the Lord. But only through the Lord can we exercise it. Very good post. I really enjoyed reading it.
