Turning The Giants Into Mice - Part 7
Bless the people who hurt you and bless the situation.
There is power in blessing. Why? For our God is a God of love. He desires no strife, quarrels and brokenness. But the fallen nature of this world and man, we live in a world that is broken and under the dominion of the evil one. But the opposite of all negative is love. Jesus tells us to bless our enemies. There must be a reason and a purpose. The world tells us to hate our enemies and to destroy them. But Jesus tells us the opposite. He didn’t want us to carry around with us a heart of bitterness, anger, fear, and unforgiveness. He wants us to carry a heart of love, peace, and joy for He is love.
When you have love, you know you are accepted. When you are accepted, there is no need to envy of others nor to desire for things not within your reach. The peace in your heart assures you that you can continue even without all these materials or recognition from men for you know who you are and what you can do. If there is love and there is peace, who can walk around with a grumpy face but a face of smiles. You can be happy but not joyful. Happiness is short-lived. But joy is lasting. This joy comes from the inner being knowing that you can face the challenges ahead and no matter what the outcomes may be, you are still accepted. This is inner joy.
Bless your enemies and by blessing you are releasing your enemies, your pains, your problems into the hands of God. Who is a better Solver than our dear Father in heaven?!
