Many things start from our heart and our mind. We may want to feed the sheep of God or even to help the poor but sometimes our mind and heart don't seem to synchronize together. But Brother David is right in pointing out that all things have a beginning from our thoughts and when we got it right with God, our heart and will definitely go in line with God's plan and will for our life. The love of Money and generous giving are definitely things that we need to conquer beside time management. I can see that money holds the hearts of God's people based on the vehemous comments that came when the article on tithing and offering were put up by david.

The Truth Is Free and it cost nothing to talk and to spread the word of our Almighty God. Time...Yes..but what is time when you can have Eternity

Hello David and All,

May I add the following?

And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. -- Mark 4:19.

We must be very careful not to cross the line into selfish prosperity preaching. Fruitfulness results in harmlessness and beneficence. Fruitfulness feeds the lambs and sheep. If the lambs and sheep are left hungry, there is no real fruitfulness. It is rather false-hearted -- a fake.

Christians cannot be divorced from the goal of feeding all the hungry all the time in both body and spirit. Christianity is about giving and sharing and not about accumulation for self apart from God.

I'm sure you, David, agree. I don't add this by way of negative criticism but rather to add positive commentary.

Until Shiloh comes, we do have responsibilities and we are accountable even in capitalistic relationships. You are right that we won't be trusted with the real life if we don't manage this one in faithfulness (trustworthiness).

Thank you, David, for the food for thought.

God bless,

Tom Usher
